Review Of Bintube
Bintube is provider of usenet access, offering uncensored, unlimited, fast and secure service. This is not the only thing they offer. They offer BinTube usenet reader as well, but we will say something about it later.
Servers
They have servers located both in the Europe and in the USA. The addresses of these servers are as follows:
- news.bintube.com
- eu.news.bintube.com (European nntp servers)
- us.news.bintube.com (U.S. nntp servers)
These servers offer up to 20 connections, SSL encryption is available for all accounts at no extra charge and currently, their servers carry more than 85.000 newsgroups.
Retention and completion
The retention for the binary groups is currently 695 days. For the text groups, the retention is 1095 days. The completion rate is 99%.
Pricing
They have only one pricing option, but due to its price, we can’t say that we’re sorry. This option they offer costs $10.99/month. Further, this option gives unlimited download volume and great speed. BinTube usenet reader software and BinTube usenet search are included as well.
BinTube Usenet Reader
BinTube Usenet Reader is a powerful Usenet client with NextGen features such as multimedia streaming and advanced usenet search. This piece of software downloads and streams all kinds of usenet content. „You’ve tried the rest, now try the best“, they say about it. It comes in 2 editions, the first one being free and the other one costs $59.95. From the chart that is provided there, the only difference we can see is that paid edition provides the maximum of 50 simultaneous connections (as opposed with 20 that is maximum in free edition) and it can be used with third-party usenet servers, which is the feature that free edition doesn’t have.
Recommendation
Excellent speed, pricing, retention and great usenet reader. What more can we add?
