Choose Default Search Provider

Hidden in the Binverse configuration menu you have option to select a search server. By default this goes the built in Binverse Engine. Normally, the built in Binverse search engine will give you the best results but it’s worth checking out other Usenet search providers to see what other options you have.  The other Usenet search server listed are Bintube, binsearch.info, newzleech, NFONews.com, NZBMatrix.com and  ngindex.com. Your may be more comfortable with this other Usenet search providers.   Be sure to play around with the default Usenet search provider however because the built-in binverse client is very good.

Turn SSL On

By detault it appears that SSL is not enabled so go make sure that SSL is turned on. You might as well take advantage of the extra security offered by SSL as its included free with Binverse and you just have to make sure its enabled. Encryption will help prevent throttling of your account by your ISP. Depending on how you access the Internet ( i.e. what company you use ). Your ISP may throttle your Internet connection if they detect Usenet downloads. This varies by ISP and can be avoided by using SSL
