The server address is news.newsgroup-binaries.com and there are 4-8 simultaneous connections available. Unfortunately, SSL encryption is not available. Their server benefits from utilizing redundant OC-12 connections to multiple Internet backbones, ensuring that the usenet articles the user requests are delivered as fast as the user’s Internet connection allows. In other words, there is no speed cap.
Retention and completion
Although they state to strive for the best retention and completion times in the industry, it appears that, while talking about retention times, they are certainly not striving enough. The retention times are 200 days for single and multi-part binaries, but for the text groups as well.

Adversely to their claims, they are certainly not having best retention times in the industry. The other thing is that the pricing is not competitive with some other providers.
