NewsGuy is a company offering a wide variety of Internet services, both personal and commercial. This includes usenet newsgroups, e-mail, web hosting and Internet access. Regardless of this, we will concentrate only on their usenet services, more specifically, the one for personal users.
Servers
The server address is news.newsguy.com and this server is available through ports 119, 80, 8080, 563 (SSL) and 443 (SSL). Up to 32 concurrent connections are allowed, both through NNTP newsreader or their web interface. SSL is given to their subscribers at no additional cost.

The difference between unlimited options is that express does not offer free e-mail service and free website hosting. The same difference is between express and extra options where extra provides both previously mentioned features.

Speed

Recommendation
This company offers very decent service, not only while talking about usenet. We like the number of options provided and the pricing is decent as well. Finally, although not the best, one year of retention seems like a very good deal.
