NewsReader.com has been around for awhile but for $10/month for 30 GB not a good deal.

There is only one pricing option that costs $9.95 per month with a 30 GB download cap. For NNTP server usage, only article bodies count towards user’s download cap. In other words, all header downloads are unlimited.
We have not tested the connection speeds of NewsReader.com, but according to user testimonies, it’s fairly standard.
The NNTP server is news.newsreader.com, available on the standard port 119. Other available ports are 23 (TELNET), 53 (DNS) and 443 (HTTPS). Finally, on the port 563, SSL access is supported. NNTP server connections are bandwidth limited to 10 Mbit per connection and 12 concurrent connections are available.
Access
If the user is using Web interface, there is a software limit of 10,000 articles per news group.
Download cap
The cap for new accounts is 30 GB per month. If the user reaches the 30GB cap, depending on the setting, the account will be either closed or auto-renewed. If the second option is chosen, the billing date will shift as well. The user can download as much as he or she wants and will be charged a little sooner if gone over 30 GB cap.
The services of NewsReader.com have not been tested by us yet, but according to their website, as of April 2 2009 (latest information available), the retention for the text groups was about 500 days and for the binary groups, it was about 150 days. Regarding completion, they say that it is excellent as they carry all the articles that are posted to Usenet.
