UseNetServer is a product of UNS Holdings, Inc, providing access to usenet newsgroups and NNTP feeds for both business and private users. Before joining their services, they encourage the potential subscriber to read their terms of use. There, we can find information that a person must be at least 18 years old to subscribe and that multi-posting, advertising, cross-posting and sporging (act of posting articles to a certain newsgroup, where the article header is falsified so it appears that it has been posted by others) are forbidden acts.
Servers
The address of standard server is news.usenetserver.com. This server supports ports 119, 23, 25, 119, 3128, 8000 and 9000. There is also secure server available on the secure.usenetserver.com; it uses secure 256-bit SSL encryption and it is available through the ports 443, 563 or 8080. While talking about number of maximum available connections, 10 are available for High Speed account and maximum of 20 connections for High Speed Plus accounts are provided. Free SSL is available for all the clients, except in 3-day accounts.
