We have not tested the service of Newgroups-Download, but they claim on their website that they have fast downloading and uploading services.
There are 3 servers available on the following addresses:
- nyc.newsgroups-download.com
- phoenix.newsgroups-download.com
- amsterdam.newsgroups-download.com
As you can see from these addresses, 2 servers are located in the USA and one in the Europe. Up to 8 high-speed connections are available, but if the user chooses the unlimited package, up to four connections are available. According the server addresses and the lack of information about it, it appears that SSL encryption is not available.

We have not tried the services of Newgroups-Download, but their website states the retention to be 200 days, probably for both binary and text newsgroups. The completion is over 99%.

Conclusion
